"The faithful are indeed brothers. Therefore make peace between your brothers."-- Quran 49:10

In our three Abrahamic religious traditions, the family is the center of the society. It's impossible to have a happy, healthy and strong community without stable households.

There is no basis for Shiite and Sunni animosity anywhere, certainly not in the Quran. While each school of thought in Islam has its special qualities and reflects cultural diversity, Shiites and Sunnis have a common belief system.

It's a great blessing to see that America's majority prefers diplomacy and peace over military options. Saying no to war means declaring yes to civil discourse.

If the Israelis want to live in that neighborhood in peace and security, they better humble themselves and make some courageous changes in the Zionist political culture.

The pope wields influence that is unequaled among world religious leaders; hence, he should be extremely sensitive that his comments not trigger his followers to distance themselves from Muslims in a unhealthy manner.

The foundation of peace does not consist of bigger missiles, death and destruction but wisdom and leadership. That is what wants from Bush.

May God save this nation from all evil and harm, so we won't wake up one day and say, "How did we let all these things happen?"

"O ye who believe! Let not others' hatred of you incite you to depart from justice. Be just: That is next to piety."-- (Quran 5:8)

It's so sad to see how Prophet Muhammad is misunderstood and poorly appreciated in the West. Mohammad's life was filled with concern for his fellow human beings. He was a sincere servant and messenger of God.

The pilgrimage has its own difficulties, but the real challenge starts after hajj, when the pilgrims go home and share with their communities the lessons they learned from this journey. I thank God for the opportunity to make this trip.

Prophet Mohammad said, "To make God happy, make His people happy!" Let's make this Christmas a turning point toward human happiness, peace, brotherhood, unity and love.

The tensions between Iran and Israel will cease with Israel's fulfillment of its humanitarian and international obligations.

"O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you, as it was prescribed to those before you, that you may learn self-restraint." -- Quran 2:183

As the Quran says, "By the epoch, humanity is indeed at a loss, except those who have faith and do good works, and recommend one another to the truth and patience."

The Quran is filled with words of wisdom, appreciated by all people of understanding. The main subject of the Holy Quran is the glorification of the God of Abraham. To dishonor this book is to dishonor the Divine.
