“THE ART OF PROTECTING RELATIONSHIPS FROM WEANING OFF…”
This workshop is sponsored & hosted by (IHW) every 6 months, to help provide constructive stronger marriages in our community.
Our mission is “stronger marriages build stronger families, stronger families build stronger communities”
Our aim is to 1) bring together those that are ready for a lifelong commitment and 2) to bring those that are already in a lifelong commitment, prepare them with specialized skills & Knowledge required to evolve .
This one day workshop focused on how to work together and build a stronger marriage, preventing it from weaning off…
“Evolving into the right person!”
Marriage is not like a house you walk into, they have to be built from day one and all the way to the end of your life...a construction of knowledge and love.
After the warm welcome, as an icebreaker and in order for us to get to know each other better participants were asked to introduce themselves using the information they filled in the ⅗ cards when they arrived.
Main topics powerpoint was presented titled 1: (understanding your partner’s personality) 2: (How to achieve a perfect “imperfect” relationship.) Followed by a short video on the difference between sympathy & empathy in relationships. After the video participants were asked to answer questions given to them about the video as they were divided into groups and asked to discuss their answers with their group. A 30 minute break session for prayer and lunch was given was followed by some advise for success in relationships by Terrance Findley/Life Coach. The program concluded with a couple that got married through the Marriage Foundation, sharing their exciting & beautiful experience.
We had 21 attendees that were very interested, with great feedback on the evaluation sheet.
Dr. Hajj Ali Tirgan with his Lord!
It was a sad day at the Islamic Center of Cleveland this morning and at the eve of Imam Hussein(sa) Arbaeen.
The community met to say goodbye to one of its faithful and fulfilling members who contributed generously to help the establishment of the Muslim community in the area.
Before the Jinaza prayer, Dr. Tirgan family members including Dr Homayoun and Dr Arash and friends including Dr. Sobhani, Dr. Ansari, hajj Mahdi Sohrabi and other friends spoke about Dr. Tirgan services and contributions to their community.
Imam Elahi lead the prayer and spoke about the marhoom’s memories during their hajj and decades of friendships and communications.
Imam Elahi called the late Dr Tirgan a man of faith, family, intellect, integrity, service and sacrifice.
Imam's adviced the marhoom’s children to continue their faithful father’s legacy and contributions to our community and country.

Following a long day of distributing hundreds of meals to local families in need, Islamic House of Wisdom was blessed to receive an extra Special delivery of Qurbani meats thanks to MMCC (Michigan Muslim Community Council). Boxes were divided and shared, also delivered to many houses in need. The staff were so impressed by IHW’s organization and readiness to assist that extra boxes of meat were shared to help us outreach to more families! IHW offers it’s appreciation to MMCC and all who helped to make the distribution a success!
Today, Eid prayer at IHW! 7/20/21
Following the prayer imam Elahi delivered two Eid sermons in Arabic and English.
Imam called Eid of Adha not sacrifice of a lamb, but sacrifice of love.
Eid is an opportunity to sacrifice all we can from time, talent, treasure, comfort, and pleasure for the sake of our family, community and humanity.
Imam focused on the role of prayer during this testing time when billions of people of this planet are suffering from the pain caused by pandemic , poverty and prejudice.
Mentioning the sermon of prophet Mohammed on his farewell message in Arafat, the Imam spoke about the violation of human life, intellect, integrity, faith and property.
Referring to the Israeli NSO company that has been used it’s spyware technology to hack smartphones of journalists and human rights activists, imam called for accountability on such a disgraceful abuse of technology and crime against human rights and dignity in the world.
Israeli greedy company has sold the system to the dictators in Saudi Arabia, UAE and other tyrannies to arrest, jail and even killing the freedom fighters in their own countries.
It’s shame to claim democracy but commit crimes against democracy. These are crimes not only against humanity but also against the great religion of Judaism, the journey started by Moses against the Pharaohs of his time, struggling for freedom and justice.
This is the moral duty of the Jewish community to push for accountability of corrupt Israeli companies and the corrupt politicians who let these human rights violations to occur for the last 11 years.

Providing Assistance to victims of flood with informational resources and assisting to fill out their city claims, Flood Survey Sheet and MDHHS (Michigan department of health and human service) Emergency Assistance forms, Water assistance, Emergency Food Assistance. Attorneys and MDHHS volunteer staff ((bilingual Arabic speakers) will be dedicating their time to assist victims of flood with related questions and guidance.

Judaism was a journey for justice started by prophet Moses (pbuh) against the tyranny and terrorism of Pharaohs!
What the Israeli brutal police and army are doing is a crime against Judaism and voices of truth and justice in the Jewish community!
This bloody war is a conspiracy of a crazy criminal called Netanyahu!
This greedy and selfish sinner is afraid of going to jail if he leaves the office, therefore he doesn’t mind committing any war crime to buy time!

Four years of racist foreign policies of Trump and his body Netanyahu contributed to the explosion of fascism and domestic terrorism of the extremist Israeli settlers!
Many Republicans in Congress try to embarrass the new administration and deny it any chance to work for peace or a two-state solution!
Yet president Biden must do what is right and uses the power of his presidency to stop these bloody bombardments against the civilians and end this human tragedy in Gaza.
The voices of Wisdom, consciousness, and responsibility are morally responsible to raise their voices higher and refuse to let their faith and centuries of struggles against injustice be damaged and destroyed by the agents of arrogance, greed, and anger!
As Einstein said, the very definition of insanity is to repeat the same thing again and again and expect a different result!
73 years of occupation, oppression, torture, forced exodus, massacre, ethnic cleansing, and war crimes didn’t solve the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.
If military might, media propaganda, and fearmongering were the solution, this conflict should have finished in the 20th century!
AIPAC and Zionist Christians in the name of supporting Israel are hurting the Jewish community much worse than any enemy!
They are making money and business out of their dishonest and fake friendship for the Jews!
They create more pain, poverty, frustration, and hate among the Palestinians that make the future of those two communities hostile and hateful forever!
What if you live in the best palaces with maximum pleasure but people in your neighborhood have no access to education, healthcare, security, peace, and prosperity? Do you think you ever enjoy the safety in that neighborhood?
What options are left for the Palestinians?
No two states solutions! No one-state solution! The only option is to either leave your land or die in a violent genocide!
There is only one solution for Israeli- Palestinian crisis, that is justice!
As the Bible says, peace and justice have kissed one another!
The problem in the Holy Land is not between Judaism and Islam but justice and injustice!
Trump and Netanyahu started dancing with the corrupt and criminal Arab rulers, instead of talking with the Palestinians themselves, they thought this way, Palestine will be forgotten and so-called the deal of the century would win!! So this is the result!
The Bible says if you don’t listen to the cry of the poor, your own cry for help won’t be heard!
The Quran says God doesn’t like the oppressors; they have no access to salvation!
Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said a kingdom may survive with atheism but not with injustice!
We stand for peace and justice, we refuse any human being be hurt, being Jewish, Christian, Muslim or any other faith traditions or even non/believers, this is why we call to end this bloody war right now!
Let each and every one of us be a candle, bringing some light to the darkness of this world!
We did condemn Holocaust against Jews, now it’s the Jewish turn to condemn Holocaust against the Palestinians!

Now that Ramadan is over, let’s use the spiritual energy of our Ramadan prayers and fasting and stand for peace and justice, reconciliation and respect for human rights for every human on this earth!
Let’s refuse warmongering and injustice from anyone and anywhere on this planet!
